A sleeping sofa that has all it’s necessities inside its pillows and can easily be transformed into a bed by a single person.
I worked on this concept in my semester abroad in Finland. The Finnish firm Pedro specializes in upholstered furniture. They were looking for a redesign of their newest sleeping sofa.
The sofa can be transformed into a sleeping single or double bed by pulling the upper mattress forward. There is no need for a second person.
The bedding hides inside a cloth that is used as the backrest.
When in need, the cloth can be opened to take out the bedding to use it on the beds.
